Arkansas Wind and Solar was founded by engineers
and local business professionals to help promote the use of alternative
energy in Northwest Arkansas. Our mission is to bring the most

The federal government offers a 30% tax credit for solar and wind installations. The state of Arkansas also has a rebate program that offers $1.50 per kilowatt hour produced for the first year. This further reduces the cost of a PV solar system to less than $1 per watt. This brings the payback down to about 5 years or less.
